Why is my "Available Balance" R0.00?
Your available balance is calculated based on the days you have worked in the current pay cycle.
- If your pay cycle just started (e.g., yesterday was payday), your accrued balance resets.
- If you have already withdrawn your limit (e.g., 50% of earned wages), you must wait until you work more days to accrue more balance.
I requested a withdrawal, but the money isn't in my account.
PayRush processes payments instantly using Real-Time Clearing (RTC). However, depending on your bank, it may take:
- Standard: 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Weekends/Holidays: Up to 24 hours (depending on bank processing times).
If you haven't received funds after 4 hours, please contact us via WhatsApp.
How do I buy Electricity or Airtime?
- Go to the Services tab in the app.
- Select "Electricity" or "Airtime."
- Enter your Meter Number or Phone Number.
- Confirm the amount.
- You will receive your token/voucher code instantly on the screen and via SMS.
Can I change my bank account details?
For security reasons, bank account details are usually synced directly from your Employer's payroll system to prevent fraud. If you changed banks, please update your details with your HR department first; PayRush will update automatically within 24 hours.
Is PayRush a loan?
No. PayRush gives you access to money you have already earned but haven't been paid yet. There is no interest charged, only a small fixed transaction fee per withdrawal.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion, go to Profile > Privacy Settings > Delete Account, or email privacy@payrush.co.za. Note that transaction history may be retained for 5 years as required by financial regulations.
